Mango's perfect preview

mango collectionmango collection mango collection ph/ Mango

Mango has succeeded in making go from longing for summer to longer for Autumn and wear wide black trousers, leather boots, black and burgundy, aviator jackets, parkas and more. This collection will be available in July and personally I will take one of each, making my morning rituals much easier. This being said their actual collection is pretty perfect as well, I guess I am just more of an 'Autumn' kind of girl.

Les Composantes

les composantes I first discovered Les Composantes a while back - and I cannot for the life of me remember the 'how' I discovered the brand. One thing is certain, I immediately feel in love with what it had to offer. Les Composantes is about unique creations, sleek and classic design, wardrobe essentials at affordable prices and that very unique french touch.  Only recently, did I find out that Les Composantes was more or less a 'one man show' which got me excited about the brand once again.

Today is the day that the Werelse girls - Andy, Chiara and Caroline launch their capsule collection for Mango. Even though I was very curious and excited to discover the collection and  impressed with what they have accomplished thus far. I wanted to share with you, Morgane Sézalory's creations and the concept behind Les Composantes. The only down-side, if we can call it that, is that her creations are offered in very limited thus you need to get in there fast. The up-side to this is that you will never find yourself wearing the same bag, pair of shoes, or piece of clothing as someone else.

My Les Composantes bag seen here, here and here.

Marni for H&M jacket

marni for h&m

Sources: Elin Kling, Sofie and Sandra

Just like the previous years, I managed to be out of town when the Marni (for H&M) mania hit the streets. As I knew I wouldn't be in town, and I did not have the heart to ask one of my friends to stand in line in the cold streets of Brussels as of 5am, I sort of clocked out on the thought of getting any of the key pieces. This being said, I did - as a hopeful child would - on my return to Brussels check out the H&M store in Brussels. To my surprise (but not really) some of the - most expensive - pieces were still there and in quantities. One of which was the gorgeous leather/cotton bomber jacket. The one thing I had really nit counted on, is it being prices at a whooping 199€. Price tag aside, I still find this jacket amazing, just not sure how much use I will get out of it. Yes, I know I sound like a dinosaur talking about practicality in the world of fashion, what can I say. So I went home empty handed and waiting for the regret to settle in.

Did you score anything, your favourite items? Did you patiently wait in line? Bid furiously on eBay? or simply was not impressed?
