Ode to Spring

I wouldn't scream 'spring's arrival' just yet, however it does look like Spring is finally just around the corner. Not quite a spring outfit just yet but still something worth sharing. Thank you so much for all your lovely comments about my previous DI you have motivated me to start doing more DIY or my own, let's see if this actually happens. For some more fun news, I will be styling my very first shoot on Friday so please wish me luck. I will do my best, that is if I am not too busy running around like a headless chicken, to document the day and take a few pictures

Also, the beautiful Elora that has been featured is some of my previous post has passed the "The Beautiful Blog Award" and "The Creative Blogger Award" onto me. I am not quite sure what I am suppose to do, but I do know I have to share seven things with my readers. First of all, I would like to thank Elora for this sweet gesture, and now for the seven things you don't know about me.

1) I was born in France 2) I love spending time alone, even though I am very sociable 3) recently, I have enjoyed meeting people from around the world 4) I am a political geek/nerd (both terms apply to me) and have been studying politics for six years now  5) I don't have that many girlfriends (working on that) but those that I have mean the world to me 6) I am pretty shy 7) I am addicted to TV series.

The Jumpsuit

I brought this jumpsuit some time ago now and it has been at the bottom of my wardrobe ever since, I attempted to wear it a couple of time but it was a failed attempt every time, either the shoes were not right of the length was just off. Anyway I ended up wearing it one night, pairing it with high heels and rolling up the bottoms and I really liked it. I wore it here during the day with a jumper thrown on top and I quite like the result. even though the sun graced us with its presence it was no were near warm enough to take pictures without the jumper, so I will leave that for another post. Word of advice, if you do end up wearing a jumpsuit to a party, be advised not to spend to much time at the bar and visiting the bathroom ends up being a real expedition with one of these things!

Please mind the wedge

Just a quick outfit post and a casual one at that. I thought I ought to talk to you too about a relatively new online fashion magazine and website that is quite interesting. It's called Hypeed and it gives you the opportunity to feature and be part of their fashion magazine 'fashion by real people'. The way your participate is by contributing three or more pictures to a specific trend, then readers and other members have the opportunity to vote for you. Then they feature the top contributors in their online magazine, the concept is fun and the website is really nicely done.

Lunch at the Ritz

So I hope you all had a great weekend, valentine or no valentine. Here is a very colourful post for once, I have nothing against colour I just seem to always gravitate towards greys, blacks and dark blues. I saw these tags and knew that this would be the perfect shot to share with your these gorgeous earrings from Lunch at the Ritz. There is something I love about a 'simple' and understated outfit and a stunning pair of earrings. I can also share with you my patent ankle boots from Asos which I previously spoke about here.

I have also subscribed and added a formspring.me form, so please feel free to ask me anything.
