White shirt and flares

I hope you are all having a nice long Easter weekend! Just a quick outfit post with one of the outfits I wore over the weekend, and probably one of my favourite combinations; a crisp oversized white shirt and a pair of jeans. A simple classic and one were you really can't go wrong.

Hopefully by Thursday all my work will be finished and I can have some breathing time again, if that is the case I really want to go to the Sketchbook's first pop up shop, which is currently happening over at Carnaby street, London. Next week there will be panel discussion about 'blogs and brands' which I though could be really interesting. Has anyone already been and checked it out by any chance or plan to?

A kid in a candy store

First of all Happy Easter and thanks for all your kind wishes! I hope you are all having a great weekend and making the most of this mini break. I, on the other hand I'm working, working and working...

A couple of reasons why I am Hype(e)d (with a Capital 'H' and two 'E's). First of all, I am this weeks cover girl for the 'Denim Revival' trend in Hypeed's latest webzine. Do check it out and let me know what you think. I have recently updated my 'featured in' page, so I'll take this opportunity to thank everyone that has featured my looks on their blogs and a warm thank you to Ela Wood who has shown more support han I could wish for!

Secondly, I have just received my Yaz T-shirt today in the post, courtesy of Hypeed in collaboration with Yaz, Paris.  Nothing sells a garment like unique and creative packaging and I must admit I loved the idea of my T-shirt being delivered in what looks like a Vinyl case. Thanks again for the lovely T-shirt!! I will try and share some pictures with you as soon as I get some free time. Talking of packaging I went to an 'original' sweet shop today, literally like a kid in candy store, because a bit of fun never killed anyone!

Candy, more candy and rows and rows of candy, happy easter to me!

You are so transparent

Lately I have been fascinated about the discussions surrounding bloggers, who knew that simple individuals with a willingness to express themselves, whether this be by writing, clothing, or any other form of expression, would create such huge debates. Indeed, it seems that many are intrigued, but also criticise and analyse in depth, the impact and the legitimacy of bloggers. Many high end magazines seem to dislike them (us, not quite use to being part of the blogosphere yet), partnerships and gift receiving are frowned upon, and every little detail is microscopically analysed, and for what? I have yet to fin d a logical explanation, appart from the fact that bloggers are becoming an increasingly fast growing generation of open minded people who will say and do what is on their mind, connected together at all corners of the world, giving them a louder voice and thus power of influence that many couldn't even dream of.

I think people are just going to have to get over themselves (Yes Anna Wintour, Tavi will be sitting in the front row of many fashion shows to come and she won't be the only blogger either) and accept the reality of thing, bloggers are here and it looks like they are here to say with a lot on their minds. Indeed, there is an endless amount of ink and paper here in the blogosphere.

So here is a little outfit post, love this Yesstyle fleece jacket, just the best. Yesstyle has yet to disappoint me. I brought these dress in several colours and its actually really soft and great to wear. I guess most of you got something from the Graden Collection this weekend, I got quite  a few pieces I will share with you sometime soon. But I didn't manage to get my hands on the lovely red rose dress (sigh). I have been asked quite a few time by my french readers to translate my blog, as the requests have become increasingly numerous I am seriously considering translating my posts, however I am worried it won't translate that well. Do you have any suggestions regard this?

smiles and laughter

Just a quick outfit post and a reminder that being serious 24/7 is neither good nor, well, serious. Going backwards and forth between Canterbury and London, I have noticed that very rarely do I take pictures when I am running around London. On this occasion I made a point of taking the time to snap some pictures to share with you.

I was also very flattered to see my looks here and here. Thanks Elodie, Laura and Elisabeth!! You can also check out my features in my 'featured in' section, an opportunity to discover new blogs.

Also, I hope you have noticed the countdown to 'the big 100th post giveaway' has begun. No excuses for not knowing as I have posted the countdown on the top of the sidebar. I will not reveil what there is to win, not yet anyway, but i will say this much. There will be two big winners!!
