Filles à papa

So as promised here are some of the pictures I was sent. Thanks to all of you who sent them! For these first three lovely shoots I have Jen aka StyleCrusader to thank. Check out her post on our gathering here.

//STREET STYLE LONDON (POLKA DOTS)//

The lovely Jill from StreetStyleLondon and I have me speaking a lot lately, but not just fashion, politics too. Here in the Uk it has been interesting times politically wise with the sudden resignation and change of government. A love my fashion but I have a real passion for politics too. Hope you enjoy the pictures! Check out her latest article 'a leap of faith' you can discover my extreme (hum hum) jumping skills and our political interest.

Black Book

I have a very busy but exiting day. I was invited by the lovely people at swatch to come to their big event were they will presente their 2010 'swatch & art' collection. It will also be great to meet the person that contributed so generously to my big 100th post giveaway by donating a gold swatch watch. Can't wait especially as this is my first ever press release too.

Then I will attend the 'Getting Started Lecture' With Jill Adams and Jennifer Inglis at Sketchbook pop-up shop over at Carnarby street. I was thrilled to discover that due to their success their shop would stay upon another month. I can't wait for this "practical and engaging workshop on how to start a blog and build one up".

Also, to all you Britons don't forget to vote today!! (this might be a fashion blog but I am still a politics student first and foremost ;)).

I thought I would share with you some of my latest purchases; the grey suede wedges (the exact cop of the zara ones but I really love their colour) and my Black Book t-shirt (cheap and fast delivery, just in case you were wondering for both items).

Turquoise ring

Yet another example of a skirt that I wear more often than not as a dress. Loving these grey suede Asos boots at the moment they are simply the perfect shade for this summer. The turquoise ring was on of my best finds in terms of rings and accessories, I just can't seem to get enough of its bright colour. This was an unexpected outfit post and not one that I had planned but I actually really love these pictures, I think they came out great. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do. And as always have a great day!

I have been receiving quite a lot of emails lately and questions concerning my hair and what products I use. I have to admit I should take better care of it and I really don't do that much to it appart from using a good conditionner once in a while and cutting the ends myself every two weeks or so. And yes this bright orange is my natural colour which I was lucky enough to inherit from my mum.

Cupcakes & pinatas

Just got back from Brussels. It was a fun yet hectic stay as always but its always such a pleasure  to come back and to see all my friends. I thought I would share with you some of my pictures from my stay in Brussels and party in Antwerp. I have to say the titles sums up the best part of it, so if you think this is just another funky title, think again because you are never to old for either cupcakes or pinatas. I hope you all had a great weekend and I promise I will answer all your emails this week.

//WEARING// Dress: H&M (skirt worn as a dress as seen here) Cargo shirt: Zara Cuff: Courtesy of Philippe Audibert

The gorgeous blonde (otherwise known as one of my best friends) is wearing my jumpsuit from Sisley (brought last year) and my second cuff courtesy of Philippe Audibert. I might not have any sisters to steal and share clothes with but I do have a wonderful friend and neighbour with the same passion for clothes, whom  thankfully has more or less the same size as me.
