GO GREEN

Sources: Stylebykling, The satorialist, and Caroline Blomst

No seriously, and I’m no just talking environmental friendly green, I mean go out and get yourself a nice cargo green “coat”. Looks great on top of leather trousers, jeans and especially dresses. If you are worried it wont keep you warm, it probably wont, so work it Kling Style and pill on the layers under yours (leather jackets, jeans jackets, hoodies, jumpers, you name it it will fit)

Faux fur, faux pas?

If Miss. Moss has being wearing them for some time now, it does indeed look like faux fur is doing a huge come back. Isabel Marant from Zara have created a few nice coats for us to chose from and it looks like the fashionistas of the web have caught up with the trend.

Caroline Blomst sure knows how to make a faux fur effortless and youthful, mixing it with a leather jacket underneath, a pair of boyish black boots, or simply a pair of tight fitting jeans or leather pants.

Spot on in London, this girl knows who to make fur her own.If you thought chic and quirky didn’t work together, then think again! We probably were quite a few to have walked past this particularly coat in topshop but never gave it a second thought. This blogger adopt it and gave it that unique London appeal.

Ida, did a classic version of a leopard print faux fur (from urban outfitters) and wore hers with an all black outfit. At the same time, all the focus is on the coat but it doesn’t scream ‘look at me’ which is refreshing. This blogger sure knows how to work the understated yet fashion forward looks.

At Columbine Style, we get a vintage feel for faux fur paired with washed out jeans, a grey t-shirt and black wedges.

Going OTT for OTK boots

They should have been in our closets since, well forever really. But lets face, we didn’t really think we would be needing a pair or sky high boots any time soon. Pretty woman made them look hot in 1990, Kate Moss made them fashionable in 2000, and the fashion gurus of the web have now made them look, well simply wearable (with some exceptions, but they are not the ones to care).

If you have the legs and don’t mind the London chill then grin and bare it like Gala for a comfy yet still very cute look.

Stella, simply puts a smile on my face. Since, Hannah MacGibbon graced us at the end of her show with a pair of denim short, a grey t-shirt and OTK black suede boots I have worn mine out bare legged and with shorts. But warm weather does no call for boots and rain calls for trousers or at least a good pair of tights, but at the end of the day who cares if ou just want to show of your new sued boots.

This french fashionista, is a nice example that fashion does not always have to rhyme with unwearable. Like her fellow bloggers, she is no doubt up to date with all the current trends, but she always makes the trends look timeless, her outfits do not look loke they will go out of style the next day. Youthful french chic at its best.

In the near future I will be dedicating a post to these fashion forward girls from Sweden. In the meantime, here is a nice way to wear you OTK boots that can be taken from day to night.

It looks like, we can now step out of the house, without having to spend the day in killer hells. Fashion bloggers all over are been photographing themselves wearing what look like very comfy footwear.

Low cowboy boots in the style of Kling and Angie.

leather lace up’s in the style of these two Spanish students who pair their combat style boots with pretty summer dresses.

What not try the ankle buckle boot in the style of the “ohh so wanted by all chloé boots”, like these three girls.

If you have nice boots, the new rule is to roll up those trousers ladies and show them off. However, if you want to change things up and not do what everyone else is doing then why don’t you leave your jeans do the talking. Pair your boots with a pair of jeans or trousers with zippers on the end, like Kenza.
