The details that count

A Day in the Life of Je Ne Sais Quoi from Elena on Vimeo.

Great little video I came across as I was browsing the sales over at Shop Je Ne Sais Quoi. I have finally come to a decision on the colour for the Cambridge Satchel and went with purple, now I just have to wait two weeks as their bags are hand-made to order which I think makes them ever better as they are truly one of a kind and it is so rare nowadays to find actual hand made leather goods.

Eliza Doolittle, Pack up

One of my friends posted this video on Facebook this week and I really wanted to share it with you for various reasons. Firstly, and most obviously, what an incredible voice. Secondly, I like the idea of how simple the song is and how natural it sounds. Don't get me wrong I am the first to love all the Lady Gagas and Rihannas out there but its nice to here such a nice voice, and one that is not overpowered by all the modifications  technology has now allowed us to do.

I wish you all a fantastic New Year Eve and I will see you all (hopefully) in 2011!!

Best wishes,

Toni

The power of ideas

I found this amazing video about the powers of ideas and influences over at Karen's blog and I had to share it with you guys. I am currently buried under pilles of books studying for my exams (which explains my lack of post lately). Karen started the debate at her end and I thought I would do the same here at my end. Who would you argue today has the ultimate influence in the world, and why? Bloggers have without a doubt changed the traditional ways of doing things, take politics and business for example. Neither is done today as it was merely teen years ago. Would you argue that bloggers have an important voice in society and can do actually have the ability to influence others?
