How to follow Fashion Week on Instagram

With the 'Fashion Week' frenzy upon us you are probably checking more than ever your Instagram feed, and I don't blame you. Following the fashion set allows us to follow the real-time fashion action during the Paris, Milan, NY and London Fashion Week. Plus, you get all of this within an instant and on-the-go. I must admit, I particularly like this time of the year; the inspiration, the trends, a fantasy world ...

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I finally got myself to Harrods wich was a delight., just a shame about all the tourists - then again I am one of them too. The food court in Harrods was especially nice.

During the weekend I met with the lovely Alex from the blog Alex Loves. It was great to finally meet her in person after three years of following her blog. It spend the next three hours talking about absolutely everything. Whilst I was stuffing a delicious warm bowl of porridge with banana and caramel, a little brass plate caught my eye. It was part of the most wonderful little handbag. Alex must have seen that something had caught my eye because she immediately spun round and said along the lines of "ahh yes a Sophie Hulme bag, they are everywhere and she is definitely making it". I was smitten by the whole bag; perfect size, what looked like lovely leather, the perfect amount of hardware and it was the creation of an 'up-and-coming' London designer.

I ended up going home and 'googling' her as one does and sure enough I had seen her bags before but it wasn't just bags. Her whole world was just perfect. Sober clothes, pops of colour, dinosaurs, brass hardware and gorgeous leather, strict edges with soft fabrics... I really do love it when a designer creates a universe so perfect and so appealing that you simply wished you were part of it. Added bonus, her entire collection is office friendly, which makes me like it even more.

Those Orange Trousers

I found these old pictures on my computer and thought I would share them with you. Far more interesting than my current snow-proof outfits. You might remember this post from a year ago where I was sporting the same trousers (and top actually). I absolutely love the colour if these trousers, and they look great dressed up and dressed down, like here, with a pair of flats.
