Brussels is one of those cities that come SUnday is fairly 'dead'. You might remember my previous post here on good places to go on a Sunday in Brussels. Well, this weekend the Brunch Affair took place, and so I decided to go and take a look. It brought together - under one roof - Belgian designers from all around.

Tonight I am off to check out Delvaux's Summer 2013 collection and stay tuned for a giveaway that will take place this week.

In cannes

I am finally on vacation and I have to say it feels great. One of my favorite things to do in Cannes - appart from doing absolutely nothing - is to go to the market in the 'vieux' Cannes. You just can't go wrong with all the fresh fruit & veg, fish, spices and teh most amazing flowers.

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I just really needed some time off and to myself. However the month of September will be packed with exiting new projects, amazing giveaways and a lot of posts. So be prepared.

Brussels is not the most lively place on a Sunday. This being said, it does have some amazing markets, brocantes, second hand shops and some great 'restaurants' that are open on a Sunday and are worth while checking out. The place to be on a Sunday is in 'le bas de la ville' i.e. the low part of the centre of Brussels and also the oldest part of Brussels. That is were it will be buzzing and packed with open stores and restaurants/bars. I wanted to share with you some of the places I love going to on a Sunday and places I have discovered recently, since I moved back here. This is part one in a series of three blog post on spending Sunday in Brussels. Enjoy and don't hesitate if you have suggestions of places I should check out.

ph/me

So I am clearly not a professional photographer, but I have been taking pictures for the last30 months - as a result of starting my blog - and I have grown attached to my Canon. This doesn't make me an expert but it as definitely given me a glimpse into photography.  Learning how to manupulate a camera, finding the camera that best suits you, looking for the perfect lens and using tools such as Lightroom and photoshop are just one of the things my blog has taught me. Probably things I would have never learnt to do if it were not for my blog. Anyway, here are some shots from Paris, I especially went crazy with the pink blossom which I found gorgeous and reminded me of home strangely.
