J'aime ton carré

Last night was the Hermès party J'aime mon carré in Brussels. For those of you who follow me on twitter you probably know that I have just arrived in Bruges for my one year long Master which partly explains my lack of blogging as it has been a hectic and intense week since Monday morning. However, this didn't stop me from hopping on the train and attending the Hermès part, a perfect night in perspectif, that is until I discovered I had left my camera, well in Bruges of course. I had to make do with my little blackberry, I will share the snapshots this weekend. Here are a few of the 'official' photos (that might just be use for their next campaign, so I was told; quite a fun and youthful concept might I add) to get you started and I will do my best to collect pictures from the numerous bloggers that were present.  Hope everyone had a great week.

River Island opening

Last Thursday I was kindly invited by Oona to the River Island opening in Antwerp. Enjoyed a great evening, British style and having left the UK in June it was a pleasant surprise. on the agenda; an exclusif party with a great DJ set (Didier Engels and his wife Tiany Kiriloff), some good old British food, lots of clothes, sky high heels and some amazing people. I will let the pictures do the talking.

The fantastic Oona team, and I am loving Lies's paisley dress (available at River Island)

credit: Last three pictures are from Oona

This is the sherling jacket I had been drooling over and I couldn't believe my luck when I was handed a 100 euro coupon to spent at River Island. I knew it was coming home with me. What do you think?

In my view, the two things RI does best are coats/jackets and heels

Finally, we can buy HH's tights in Belgium, remember my recent post

The useless crap sold in British stores that you always end up buying for some reason :)

Immi from style4guys, great meeting him and got acquainted by dancing outside the shop, and really I can't think of any better way to get to know someone

Faguo sneakers

Thank you all for sticking with me and the blog, I was glad to see some of you go back and read some of my older posts whilst I was away. I have to say, I am not yet use to blogging and being on holiday at the same time as I am one of those people that likes to be cut off from the real world at least two weeks a year. Those who follow me on twitter will know by now that I spent the last week in Cannes and St tropez. Just a quick post with a few snapshots from this past week.

what I wore on graduation

Canterbury Cathedral where it all happened

Okay so I was thinking (out loud on twitter, as you do nowardays) if I should do a post of my "kind of stupid looking but oh so worth it" graduation outfit.  This is not normally the kind of posts I do but, well the outcry from you guys was an clear and definite yes, so here goes...

So there you have it, three year in Canterbury and one year in paris, one hat and gown later and one diploma heavier, and I have finally graduated. On to the next!

Also, for further amusement take a look at this, because if you thought us graduates looked stupid you should see the honoraries such as Orlando Bloom. The Brits sure have some charming folklore.
